Returning for the first time in nearly a year, Zubaira Tukhugov (20-5-1) will be looking to show fans what he is capable of this weekend. Coming off of a win against Ricardo Ramos back in 2021, Tukhugov will see this fight as a perfect opportunity to climb up the ladder and start facing some ranked opponents later down the line.
As for Tukhugov’s opponent this weekend, Lucas Almeida has the opportunity to build on his first UFC win last time out against Mike Trizano. Currently 4-1 in his last five outings, Almeida will be hoping that he can establish some sort of consistency going forward in the UFC, and it begins this weekend against a tough opponent.

Heading into this weekend’s featherweight bout, Lucas Almeida will have an advantage in both the height and reach departments.
Despite this being Almeida’s second fight with the UFC, he will no doubt cause some problems for Tukhugov. If Almeida can weather the early storm, that is when the Brazilian may start to take control of the later pounds as Tukhugov has a history of dying down towards the end of the fight. In Tukhugov’s last fight, it is fair to say that he looked a lot sharper in his approach. From the off, we suspect that Tukhugov will pick his counter shots accurately, whilst mixing in his wrestling ability in order to secure a victory.
