VICTORIA DUDAKOVA VS JINH YU FREY LOWDOWN
Victoria Dudakova’s (7-0) UFC debut did not go as planned, but she still has her perfect record intact. She was coming off a unanimous decision win over Maria Silva (2022) on the Contender Series and was seemingly gifted nice welcome fight. Istela Nunes (2023) had lost all three of her UFC fights prior and unfortunately for her, she did not get a chance to prevent the four-fight skid snapping her arm before the fight got going.
The UFC has crushed Jinh Yu Frey’s (11-9) record. After a relatively successful career at atomweight, she stepped up to the UFC strawweight division and has gone 3-6. Her last win was over Ashley Yoder (2021) who has not won a fight in three years. Since then, she has lost a split decision to Vanessa Demopoulos (2022), got knocked out by Polyana Viana (2022) and lost a unanimous decision to Elise Reed (2023).

Frey is 38, lost her last three fights and taking on an unbeaten 24-year-old. It seems obvious what the UFC are doing but Dudakova is completely unproven at the level and Frey has experience the Russian does not have.
She is also well-rounded, and she can cause problems on the feet. She is a colossal underdog and is certainly worth a punt. Dudakova has not been properly tested, but she is the bigger more powerful grappler. She should also have more speed on the feet and we are backing her to earn a decision, but all the value is with Frey.
