TATSURO TAIRA VS KLEYDSON RODRIGUES LOWDOWN
Tatsuro Taira (13-0) makes his second appearance of the year after making quick work of Jesus Aguilar submitting him in the first round. That made it three UFC wins from three after outpointing Carlos Candelario (2022) and submitting CJ Vergara (2022) extending his unbeaten record.
Kleydson Rodrigues (8-2) is also coming off an impressive first-round finish earlier this year. He TKO’d Shannon Ross which came in response to losing a split decision to Vergara (2022) on his UFC debut.
TATSURO TAIRA VS KLEYDSON RODRIGUES PREDICTION
The unbeaten Taira is the heavy favourite, but this should be his toughest test to date. Taira has looked impressive and his grappling is top tier. However, at 23 years of age, there are still holes in his wrestling and he has a long way to go in the striking department.
Rodrigues is a very dangerous and rapid striker. He can also wrestle so he holds all the value and will be the smart pick. That said, we expect Taira to have evolved his game even further and be able to impose his grappling to win but this will be closer than the odds suggest.
