Sharabutdin Magomedov (13-0) has been gifted the co-main slot with only two UFC fights in the bank. He earnt a unanimous decision over Bruno Silva (2023) on debut at UFC 294 and followed that up with a routine knockout over a short notice opponent in Antonio Trocoli (2024) back in June in Saudi Arabia.
Michal Oleksiejczuk (19-8(1)) will be grateful to be fighting an out-an-out striker after coming off two submission losses. He is 1-3 in his last four which typifies his UFC career. He got submitted by Caio Borralho (2023) before starching Chidi Njokuani (2023) but went on to get submitted again by Michel Pereira (2024) and Kevin Holland (2024).

Magomedov only fought six weeks ago, but the UFC are bending over backwards to make sure he is back on middle eastern soil considering his visa issues. They have also given him a great matchup as Oleksiejczuk is an established name who is not going to take him down.
It is hard to back against Magomedov on the feet, but Oleksiejczuk possesses the touch of death in his hands. If Magomedov does not respect that, he could easily suffer the first loss of his career.
