ROBERT BRYCZEK VS IHOR POTIERIA LOWDOWN
Robert Bryczek (17-5) is grateful he still gets the chance to make his debut after Albert Duraev dropped out the week of fight. He is coming off five straight knockouts for the Oktagon MMA promotion topping up his tally to 11. He fought twice last year adding Lee Chadwick and Samual Kristofic to the victim sheet.
Ihor Potieria (19-5) bravely steps up on short notice. He is desperate to improve his UFC record after a tough run. He is 1-3 with every fight ending via knockout. Nicolae Negumereanu (2022) welcomed him to the UFC with a bang and then Potieria collected the scalp of the ageing legend Shogun Rua (2023). However, he is coming off two poundings dished out by Carlos Ulberg (2023) and Rodolfo Bellato (2023).

You just have to glance at their records to have an idea of how this fight will end. 26 of their 46 fights have ended via knockout. Potieria has been knocked out four times whereas Bryczek has only been knocked out once. However, Bryczek has not fought the same level of competition, and this will be an interesting test for him.
He is a dangerous boxer and will be grateful that Potieria will oblige in a stand-up battle. Interestingly, the Ukrainian moves down a weight class which will be a surprise to see on short notice. If he makes the weight smoothly his durability will be even more compromised.
The odds are stacked against Potieria and we expect Bryczek to eventually find the knockout.
