POLYANA VIANA VS IASMIN LUCINDO LOWDOWN
Polyana Viana (13-5) is coming off a vintage ‘Performance of the Night’ display knocking out Jinh Yu Frey (2022) in the first round. The trouble for her is that if she does not put on a similar performance, she is getting completely outclassed. She is 4-4 in the UFC and hoping to build a streak.
Iasmin Lucindo (14-5) walks out for her third fight under the bright lights and is coming off her first UFC win. She arrived to the octagon riding a seven-fight win streak which got snapped on her debut by Yazmin Jauregui (2022) who earnt a unanimous decision. She returned in April this year to earn a decision back over Brogan Walker.
POLYANA VIANA VS IASMIN LUCINDO PREDICTION
This is an exciting scrap. Viana will bring the heat and hunt the finish with her hands or jiu-jitsu and Lucindo is cut from a similar cloth. She hunts the takedown and looks to punish in top position.
They are not the most technical strikers, but we would back Viana to win the exchanges on the feet. However, Lucindo will not waste much time in shooting in. We expect her to get the fight to the ground and Viana will threaten submissions off her back, but Lucindo should be able to subdue her.
She is a powerhouse and we expect her wrestling to earn a decision at least. However, Viana is always a serious threat in the first round.
