OUMAR SY VS TUCO TOKKOS LOWDOWN
Oumar Sy (9-0) makes his UFC debut as the newest member of the French calvary. He is unbeaten having fought for a variety European promotions and he is coming off two first-round finishes last year. He submitted Henrique da Silva for KSW and then knocked out Ildemar Alcantara for The King of Fighters.
He was originally preparing for Rodolfo Bellato who had to pull out. Antonio Trocoli then stepped up and also bit the dust giving George ‘Tuco’ Tokkos (10-3) the opportunity to make his UFC debut. He is currently sitting on a three-fight win streak and coming off a TKO win over Myron Dennis for Fury FC slamming him to cause a nasty elbow injury.

The odds are completely stacked against Tokkos taking on the prospect on only a few days’ notice. However, he is a strong grappler and will have nothing to lose making him a very dangerous opponent.
If he can get Sy on his back, he has every chance in causing the upset. He will be confident in attacking off his back, but Sy has vicious ground-and-pound. The Frenchman is an absolute weapon and will hunt the knockout wherever the fight goes.
He will be wise to avoid tangling with the Brit and maintain the distance. He should be too fast, too explosive and too powerful for Tokkos on the feet however, with all the unknowns, a small punt on Tokkos could be a shout.
