MILES JOHNS VS VINCE MORALES LOWDOWN

Fighting out of Ontario, USA, Vince Morales (11-6) will be aiming to get back to winning ways this weekend. Coming off of a defeat to Jonathan Martinez, Morales has not won a fight in nearly a year. Currently 2-3 in his last five outings, Vince Morales is in for a tough test this weekend.

As for Morales’ opponent this weekend, Miles Johns (12-2) is also coming into the fight off the back of a defeat. The submission defeat to John Castañeda ended Miles’ two-fight winning streak. Johns’ last win came back in August of 2021 and will be hoping to establish some momentum with a win this weekend.

MILES JOHNS VS VINCE MORALES PREDICTION

Heading into this weekend’s bantamweight showdown, both men share the same height and reach.

If the best version of Johns turns up this weekend, he should get the job done. However, when he has a bad day at the office, Johns tends to get torn apart by lesser opposition. If Johns slips up for even a second, Morales will look to react with his devastating right hand. With Morales’ boxing approach, it will leave opportunities for Johns to counter. From the off, we suspect that Morales will look to apply the pressure early. However, in the end, Johns will utilise his wrestling background and win on the judge's scorecards.
