LOIK RADZHABOV VS TREY OGDEN LOWDOWN
Although Loik Radzhabov (18-5-1) is 1-2 in his first three UFC bouts, he has looked very impressive. That loss was part of Mateusz Rebecki’s (2023) 16-fight win streak. That came after his debut decision win over Esteban Ribovics (2023) and before his third-round knockout over Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady (2024).
Trey Ogden (17-6(1)) is five fights deep into his UFC career now and yet to build a streak. He lost a split decision to Jordan Leavitt (2022) on debut before outpointing Daniel Zellhuber (2022). He then lost to Ignacio Bahamondes (2023) and was on his way to beating Niklas Motta (2023) before a referee howler called a premature end to the fight forcing a ‘no content’. However, he is coming off another unanimous decision, this time over Kurt Holobaugh (2024).
LOIK RADZHABOV VS TREY OGDEN PREDICTION
This is a very interesting clash with contrasting styles. Radzhabov is very explosive and hunts the finish whereas Ogden is more methodical and is happy to make the fight boring and subdue the weapons of his opponents.
Ogden is a good striker, but we feel his bread and butter will make the difference which is his wrestling. We can easily see Radzhabov finding the chin, but if Ogden can weather the early storm, his wrestling will wear the Tajik Tank down and finish strong to earn a decision.
