JOSH FREMD VS TRESEAN GORE LOWDOWN

Josh Fremd (9-3) is still waiting for his first UFC dub after making his debut back in April. He was third choice for Anthony Hernandez at UFC 273 which is a very tough debut, but he took the veteran to the bell at least losing a unanimous decision.

Tresean Gore (3-2) is also still waiting for his first UFC win which is ironic considering his outspoken title ambitions. After pulling out of The Ultimate Fighter finale due to injury, he eventually met the winner Bryan Battle at UFC Fight Night 200 but got outclassed in a unanimous decision. Cody Brundage then made it two on the bounce five months later with a first-round knockout.

JOSH FREMD VS TRESEAN GORE PREDICTION

Gore cannot afford another loss and Fremd will feel a similar pressure so there is a lot at stake for these two here. Fremd has the comfort of having Brundage as a teammate, and these two were scheduled to fight each other previously, so they will both be well prepared.

Gore will understandably be hesitant in pulling the trigger, but he needs to remember what got him to the UFC and let his hands fly. He is a lethal striker and if he throws more volume, he can find the chin of Fremd and gain some momentum.

Fremd also has suspect defence, so we can see a knockout. If Gore is hesitant however, Fremd will pounce. He is well-rounded and can pepper Gore with his jabs and leg kicks while mixing in a takedown.

So, this really comes down to how Gore turns up. We have a feeling he may show some of his potential, but the safe bet is a Fremd win. A Gore knockout represents all the value.
