JOSH EMMETT VS DAN IGE LOWDOWN

It’s been over a year since we’ve last seen Josh Emmett (16-2) in action. On that night, he defeated Shane Burgos via a decision. Unbeaten in three fights, Emmett will be desperate to continue his good run of form. With that being said, Emmett is facing a tough Dan Ige this weekend at UFC 269. There’s no doubt that this fight will be one to watch.

As for Dan Ige (15-4), “50k” has faced some tough competition in recent times. With three wins in his last five fights, Ige is coming off of a defeat to ‘The Korean Zombie.’ His last defeat before Zombie came against Calvin Kattar. Therefore, Hawaii’s finest will be aiming to get back in the win column this weekend and climb up the featherweight rankings.

JOSH EMMETT VS DAN IGE PREDICTION

It’ll be interesting to see what Josh Emmett shows up this weekend. It’s been over a year since we’ve last seen him in action. This weekend’s showdown with Ige could go down as one of the fight’s of the night. On fight night, both men will bring it.

We expect this fight to take place on the feet. In terms of the ability to land more devastating shots, Emmett has the advantage. For Josh, it’ll be difficult to put a guy like Ige away as he’ll keep coming forward and look to land some brutal shots himself.

If the fight goes to the floor, Ige will be eager to use his decent top game. However, the Hawaiian native has struggled to get the fight to the floor in recent times.
