Jessica Andrade’s storied MMA career is showing no signs of slowing down as after three consecutive defeats, she has managed to win her last two. Her last fight came at UFC 300 where she was on the receiving end of a split decision against Marina Rodriguez. Bringing a 26-12 record into this bout, Andrade switches to the flyweight division and faces a quality opponent in compatriot Natalia Silva.
27-year-old Natalia Silva (17-5-1) is one of the hottest properties in the women’s flyweight division right now having won her last 11 bouts. She beat Viviane Araujo in her last fight by picking up a unanimous decision to leapfrog her in the rankings where she currently sits eighth – two behind Andrade. She comes into this fight having tragically lost her sister during her camp, which will likely only serve to motivate her further for this one.

This clash between Jessica Andrade and Natalia Silva promises to be a cracker with the rising Silva aiming to get one over the veteran Andrade.
Both come into this one with momentum but Silva is on an absolute tear right now and looks somewhat unstoppable. She has not lost a fight since 2017 and even since stepping up to the UFC, her submission skills and knockout power has remained as the quality of opponent has improved.
Andrade of course will be no pushover and this is a great test of Silva’s ability. There have been some signs of Andrade slowing down but she has won her last two fights and will still think she can get a title shot in one of the divisions she fights in.
We like Silva to get the win here. With the added fire in her belly from the tragic death of her sister and the fact Andrade is currently involved in a lawsuit with a former manager, there’s some factors that we like in Silva’s favour as well as her impressive record in recent times.
