JEAN SILVA VS WILLIAM GOMIS LOWDOWN
Jean Silva (12-2) was sitting on a seven-fight win streak before making his appearance on the Contender Series last year. He stepped up a level by earning a unanimous decision over Kevin Vallejos which made it three wins from three in 2023. He then followed that up with a perfect debut knocking out Westin Wilson in the first round to extend his streak to nine.
William Gomis (13-2) also extended his win streak to nine by winning his UFC debut. He earnt a majority decision over Jarno Errens (2022). He followed that up with another hard-fought decision against Francis Marshall (2023) convincing two judges, but then pulled off a more convincing TKO folding Yanis Ghemmouri (2023) with a beautiful body kick to stretch his streak to 11.

Silva has not fought the highest level of competition, but his weapons are undeniably dangerous. He will look to set up power shots and hunt the chin. Gomis on the other hand, will be a lot more patient, conduct the distance and pick Silva apart from range.
Silva is the favourite as he is a lot more dangerous and aggressive. However, Gomis has the speed and technique to stay out of danger and counter. He also has the composure to not engage in a brawl when the crowd gets intense, and we can see him walk away with another calculated decision.
