JASON WITT VS PHILLIP ROWE LOWDOWN
Coming off of a win against Bryan Barberena, veteran Jason Witt (19-7) will be aiming to make it two wins on the bounce heading into UFC Fight Night 200. Currently 3-2 in his last five fights, Witt will be itching to start adding some consistency. At the age of 35, this could be Witt’s last chance to catch the eye of the MMA faithful.
With a professional record of 8-3, Phillip Rowe (8-3) earned himself an opportunity to compete in the UFC following an impressive victory over Leon Shahbazyan on the Contender Series back in 2019. Currently 1-1 since signing with MMA’s biggest promotion, Rowe will no doubt have aspirations of climbing up the rankings and showing the fans what he’s capable of.
JASON WITT VS PHILLIP ROWE PREDICTION
Going into this weekend’s fight, not only will Rowe have the height advantage, but he will also have a significant reach advantage over Witt. The main key to victory for Witt is to attempt to take the fight to the floor and pounce of Rowe’s reasonably poor ability to defend on the mat. With that being said, on the feet, Rowe will have the advantage in the striking exchanges and will be desperate to keep the fight standing and look for that knock out finish.
