GURAM KUTATELADZE VS JORDAN VUCENIC LOWDOWN
When Guram Kutateladze (12-4) stepped up on short notice to beat top contender Mateusz Gamrot (2020) extending his win streak to nine, nobody thought he would lose his next two and be winless in nearly four years. After that split decision win, he went on to lose a split decision to Damir Ismagulov (2022) and get TKO’d by Elves Brenner.
He was preparing for Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady who got injured leaving the door open for a debutant. Up steps Jordan Vucenic (13-2) who has been making a splash on the Cage Warriors scene. His only loss in his last 12 was to the formidable Paul Hughes (2022) but has since reeled off four submissions in a row.
GURAM KUTATELADZE VS JORDAN VUCENIC PREDICTION
The odds are stacked against Vucenic stepping up on short notice, up a weight class against a stud. That said, he is UFC calibre and very exciting to watch as a natural finisher. He is a slick striker with six submissions on the record.
Kutateladze is the favourite, but all the pressure is on him coming off a knockout and not having fought in over a year. That said, if he is anywhere near his best, he will have the speed and power on the feet to overwhelm Vucenic and the grappling to defend the takedown and stifle the submission threat.
We are backing the Georgian to leverage his weight and power advantage to earn a decision at least, but there is value on the Brit.
Prediction: Kutateladze via Decision
Value Bet: Vucenic to win
