GILBERT URBINA VS CHARLES RADTKE LOWDOWN

We first saw Gilbert Urbina (7-2) on The Ultimate Fighter 29 finale in 2021. He got knocked out by Tresean Gore in the semi’s but as Gore dropped out the final with an injury, Urbina stepped up to the plate. He fell short again getting submitted by Bryan Battle (2021) but returned last year with his best performance to date piercing Orion Cosce with a front kick and finishing him in the second round.

Now, he takes on Charles Radtke (8-3) who heads to the APEX for his second UFC outing. After four dubs under the CFFC banner, he got the call-up to fight Mike Mathetha (2023) at UFC 293. It was a smooth debut earning a unanimous decision and now he hopes to accelerate his UFC campaign.

GILBERT URBINA VS CHARLES RADTKE PREDICTION

Interestingly, Urbina is the heavy favourite. He is very well-rounded and technically the better fighter. However, Radtke is a powerhouse with knockout power. He will be a knockout threat and is also a strong wrestler.

That said, Urbina is a slick grappler himself and as along as he can avoid the power, he has the volume and cardio to overwhelm Radtke. He also has suspect defence and we expect the Mexican to land.

Radtke has the power to hurt Urbina on the feet and land a takedown. He holds the value as the underdog however, we expect his defence and cardio to let him down.

Prediction: Urbina via Decision

Value Bet: Radtke to win
