FELIPE DOS SANTOS VS ANDRE LIMA LOWDOWN
Felipe dos Santos (8-1 with one no contest) will fight in the UFC for the third time and he will be hoping to follow up on his win last time out. In February at UFC Fight Night 237, he beat Victor Altamirano via a split decision and that was the fourth consecutive fight of his that has gone to the scorecards.
He faces compatriot Andre Lima who is also taking his third fight in the Octagon after he came through Dana White’s Contender Series. He has already had two bouts this year and has won them both, taking his record to an impressive 9-0.
FELIPE DOS SANTOS VS ANDRE LIMA PREDICTION
This all Brazilian fight will likely lead to high emotions in the Octagon on Saturday night. Felipe dos Santos and Andre Lima meet and bragging rights and national pride will be on the line.
Andre Lima has a 100% winning record and he will be desperate to preserve that. He is the one that has the knockout power between the two and he will certainly be looking for a stoppage.
Dos Santos has strong submission skills and his stamina is impressive. He will not be phased by this going the distance and he will likely welcome it against a dangerous opponent.
Lima is good enough at defending takedowns and his striking is excellent. Unless Dos Santos gets him down regularly, it is Lima who we edge to get the win here.
