Unbeaten inside the octagon since 2015, Dustin Jacoby (17-5-1) will be looking to keep up his good run of form. Jacoby has gone 5-0 since signing with the UFC after a successful trial in Dana White’s Contender Series. Coming off of a win against Michał Oleksiejczuk, Jacoby will be looking for another big win this weekend.
As for his opponent, Da Un Jung (15-2-1) is also currently enduring a good spell of form. Da hasn’t lost a fight inside the octagon since 2015. Currently 4-0 with the promotion, Da Un Jung is coming off of a first-round finish against Kennedy Nzechukwu. It’s fair to say that he will need a big performance if he is to get the job done in New York.

Heading into this weekend’s light-heavyweight bout, Da Un Jung will have a slight advantage in both the height and reach department.
It’s fair to say that Da Un Jung has some power in his hands. With that being said, that won’t be enough to get the job done this weekend. Jung is very flat on the feet and isn’t the sharpest when it comes to defence. Even though he has some decent wrestling, it will be a tough ask to take Jacoby down. We suspect that Jacoby will look to chop away at Jung’s legs from the get-go and aim to outpoint him or even get a late finish.
