DREW DOBER VS RICKY GLENN LOWDOWN
Drew Dober (26-12(1)) makes his second appearance of the year hoping to respond from getting served a taste of his own medicine back in May. He had a perfect 2022 by stringing together three vintage knockouts in a row over Terrance McKinney, Rafael Alves and Bobby Green. He then met Matt Frevola at UFC 288 and was expecting to make it four, but the Steamrolla inflicted his own knockout in the first round to abruptly end the streak.
Ricky Glenn (22-7-2) is also coming off a devastating knockout loss. His last fight prior was against the headliner of the card Grant Dawson back in 2021 where he inflicted the only blemish on his UFC record earning a draw. He finally returned in April this year against Christos Giagos, but it got not have gone worse getting stiffened in the first round.
DREW DOBER VS RICKY GLENN PREDICTION
We are not sure what Glenn has done to deserve getting lined up with Dober after getting his clock cleaned six months ago. The veteran is a knockout artist and has slugged it out with lightweight killers for a decade.
That experience has come at a cost with his chin absorbing a lot of damage over the years. Glenn also boasts knockout power and as this is likely to be solely contested on the feet, a knockout is likely.
Glenn is a heavy underdog which makes him a very attractive play, but on paper Dober has the technique, power, speed and experience to rack up another vintage win.
Prediction: Dober via KO/TKO
Value bet: Glenn via KO/TKO
