Douglas Silva De Andrade (29-5(1)) appears for the first time this year after only one fight in 2023. That was a unanimous decision win over Cody Stamann which came in response to losing a unanimous decision to Said Nurmagomedov in 2022. He now sits on a UFC record of 7-5 and would love to top that tally up before hanging up the gloves.
Those gloves will be full as his next assignment is Miles Johns (14-2(1)). He is also coming off a unanimous decision win which was over Cody Gibson back in March at UFC on ESPN 53. That came after another decision win over Dan Argueta although that was turned to a ‘no contest’ after a failed drugs test taking his UFC tally to 5-2(1).

Johns has a strong background in wrestling, but he has fallen in love with his hands. He will be wise to call upon his bread and butter as Silva de Andrade is very dangerous on the feet. He has a wealth of experience, so Johns needs to be less predictable and mix his attacks up.
If he throws low volume again, Silva de Andrade will settle quickly. He is explosive and will look to land combinations ending in that left hook. If Johns is patient and respects his power, he can find a way to win.
