After earning a professional contract with the UFC following a successful win in the Dana White’s Contender Series, Devonte Smith (11-3) is 3-2 with the UFC. Smith is coming off of a defeat to Jamie Mullarkey back in October of last year. This weekend, Devonte will be itching to amend the defeat and get back in the win column.
As for Ludovit Klein (17-4), the Slovakian native is currently enduring the best of runs himself. Klein is riding a two-fight losing streak following defeats to Mike Trizano and Nate Landwehr. His last win inside the octagon came nearly two years ago against Shane Young. Another defeat for Klein could spell the end for his career in the UFC.
