DANIEL DA SILVA VS VINICIUS SALVADOR LOWDOWN
Fighting out of Valenca, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Daniel da Silva (11-4) will be itching to get back in the win column this weekend. Silva is currently riding a three-fight streak losing streak and is coming off a TKO defeat to Victor Altamirano. Another defeat could spell the end of his UFC journey.
As for his opponent this weekend, Vinicius Salvador (14-4) will be looking to kick off his UFC career with a bang. Salvador will be making his promotional debut this weekend after a successful stint on the Dana White’s Contender Series with a win against Shannon Ross back in August.
DANIEL DA SILVA VS VINICIUS SALVADOR PREDICTION
Heading into this weekend’s flyweight bout, Salvador will have the advantage in both the height and reach departments.
Over the last few years, it is fair to say that da Silva has really yet to kickstart his career in the UFC. The Brazilian has looked terrible in his last few fights. Should he show any signs of being sloppy, then Salvador will capitalise. From the off, we suspect that Salvador will look to control proceedings and be the aggressor. Salvador’s aggressive striking will prove to be too much for da Silva this weekend.
