One of the most entertaining fights on the UFC on ESPN 61 card is this bout between Damon Jackson and Chepe Mariscal in the featherweight division.
Jackson is a seasoned UFC veteran at the age of 36 and he has a record of 23-6-1 with 11 fights in the Octagon. After two successive defeats at the hands of Dan Ige and then Billy Quarantillo, Jackson got a win in his last fight as he won a split decision against Alexander Hernandez in April.
He meets Chepe Mariscal who is a dangerous fighter that is riding a six-fight winning streak. He is one of those fighters that is improving with age and experience and confidence will certainly be on his side ahead of this fight.

Against a fighter with Mariscal’s power, there is little doubting how Jackson will approach this. Of his 23 wins, 15 have come via submission and his road to victory will certainly be on the mat to avoid getting embroiled in a brawl with Mariscal.
Mariscal is making waves in the UFC featherweight division and a win here would only heighten that. His confidence is sky high and not only does he possess good knockout power, but he has excellent cardio and output that sees him get into strong positions to win on the scorecards.
