Da’Mon Blackshear (12-4-1) made it five fights without a defeat as he could not be separated in his bout with Youssef Zalal last time out. That draw ended a run of four successive wins and the American will need to be at his best here if he is to get back to winning ways. He is excellent on the floor with eight wins by way of submission, accounting for 67% of his successes but Farid Basharat (9-0-0) will pose him some big problems here. The fighter from Afghanistan is unbeaten in his pro career after a unanimous decision victory against Allan Begosso in his latest bout and he too looks impressive on the mat with five of his nine wins coming by submission so expect a technical contest here but it is Basharat that can prevail.
