CHRISTIAN LEROY DUNCAN VS GREGORY RODRIGUES LOWDOWN
We can get used to Christian Leroy Duncan (10-1) gracing UK cards. He has maintained his reputation gained on the Cage Warriors scene as an electrifying striker who does not do boring fights. His debut did not really get started and lost a tight decision to Armen Petrosyan (2023) but has gone on to reel off two vintage knockouts over Denis Tiuliulin (2023) and Claudio Ribeiro (2024) to bump his UFC record up to 3-1.
He was scheduled to fight Robert Bryczek who pulled out and now has a more dangerous matchup in Gregory Rodrigues (15-5). He has developed his own reputation as a knockout artist and is 4-1 in his last five. He smoked Julian Marquez (2022) and Chidi Njokuani (2022) before receiving a taste of his own medicine from Bruno Ferreira (2023). Now, he is coming off two more ruthless knockouts over Tiuliulin (2023) and Brad Tavares (2024) to go 6-2 in the big time.

This is a tougher matchup for Duncan especially if Rodrigues mixes in his wrestling. If the Brazilian decides to stand in front of him, Duncan will look like a beast. He will be very dangerous in the first round with an array of flashy attacks. Considering Rodrigues’ defence, we can see the Brit stealing the show with an early finish.
However, if the Brazilian can weather the early storm and subdue Ducan with his wrestling, he can wear him down and drain the gas tank. He also has a black belt in jiu-jitsu so would be very wise to try and get this to the mat.
He has more tools to win and represents the value as the underdog. However, we feel the belief in his knockout power will work in Duncan’s favour who will have the crowd behind him.
