CHRIS GUTIERREZ VS QUANG LE LOWDOWN
After initially being pencilled in to face Javid Basharat before seeing that fall through, Chris Gutierrez will now face Quang Le who steps in at short notice for what should be an entertaining match-up.
Gutierrez is coming off a unanimous decision defeat at the hands of Yadong Song back in December and he will be eager to bounce back here. With a record of 20-6-2 under his belt, Gutierrez has experience on his side, and he will look to get the win against Le.
Le has an impressive 8-0 record but all of those fights have taken place outside of the UFC so this clearly marks a step up. He will relish the task at hand but it will unquestionably be a tough assignment.
CHRIS GUTIERREZ VS QUANG LE PREDICTION
It will be interesting to see if the change in opponent impacts Chris Gutierrez but the experienced campaigner is unlikely to be phased by it. El Guapo is a dangerous opponent for anybody in the bantamweight division and he will be confident of beating Le.
Quang ‘Bang’ Le has nothing to lose coming into this one which makes him dangerous. The lack of experience, especially against somebody like Gutierrez will likely show however and expect Gutierrez to stop him eventually.
