MICK PARKIN VS CAIO MACHADO LOWDOWN
Mick Parkin (7-0) heads to the APEX in Vegas for his second UFC appearance. He announced himself on the scene by submitting Eduardo Neves (2022) on the Contender Series. He then made his debut on the London card at UFC Fight Night 224 back in July and went the full three rounds for the first time in his career. Fortunately, he convinced all three judges to stretch his unbeaten record.
It is now time for Caio Machado’s (8-1-1) debut after a successful showing on the Contender Series. He built a healthy record in his local Battlefield Fight League meeting Kevin Szaflarski back in August. He earnt a unanimous decision and is now riding a seven-fight win streak including two knockouts and two submissions.

Both fighters are hoping for a good performance to set the trajectory of their careers. They are both evolving but have well-rounded skill sets. They are both decent strikers with Parkin possessing some decent wrestling in the locker and Machado possessing decent jiu-jitsu in his.
We expect them to feel each other out on the feet with Parkin eventually clinching up and attempting to subdue the Brazilian. We can see the Brit snatching a couple rounds leveraging his power against the fence.
However, we can also see Machado’s pressure and output on the feet overwhelming Parkin so there is a lot of value on him as the underdog.
