JEKA SARAGIH VS LUCAS ALEXANDER LOWDOWN

Third opponent lucky for Jeka Saragih (13-3). He was preparing for Jesse Butler who had to pull out with an injury. Charlie Campbell stepped up, but then he also dropped out so Saragih is just thankful to still be on the card and make up for his debut loss. He met Anshul Jubli in the final of the Road to the UFC tournament back in February and got TKO’d in the second round.

Lucas Alexander (8-3) is also just grateful to have a scrap after his fight with David Onama at UFC Fight Night 231 fell through a couple weeks ago. He also got finished on his UFC debut although he did receive a baptism of fire stepping up on short notice against Joanderson Brito (2022). He responded to the submission with a solid unanimous decision over Steven Peterson (2023) and is just hungry to get back in the cage again.

JEKA SARAGIH VS LUCAS ALEXANDER PREDICTION

This has turned out to be a great match-up. Alexander’s preparations have been far from ideal travelling from Brazil to the states to then have a fight rebooked again. We still expect him to be his dangerous self.

He is an electric striker and he will throw kicks in volume. Saragih is also a very powerful striker and considering the build-up, we can see the Indonesian causing the upset.

However, Alexander has more speed, range and is more technical. On paper, he should win the striking exchanges all day and we are backing him to earn a decision at least.

Prediction: Alexander via Decision

Value bet: Saragih to win
