LUDOVÍT KLEIN: SLOVAK STAR MAKING STRIDES IN THE UFC
Ludovit Klein is on a fine run of form having not lost any of his last six fights with five wins and one draw. The Slovak has found his feet in the UFC and is moving up the rankings in the lightweight division. This fight against Roberts is another opportunity for Klein to demonstrate his credentials on the big stage and he will understandably be confident coming into this one.
ROOSEVELT ROBERTS: THE PREDATOR LOOKING TO GET BACK TO WINNING WAYS
Roberts is coming off a submission defeat at UFC295 last November at the hands of Mateusz Rebecki. That took his record the 12-4 (with one no contest) and he will be looking to get a first victory in his second spell with the UFC. He had a mixed time during his first spell back in 2018 to 2020 and he will know another defeat here will damage his longer term prospects in the organisation.
LUDOVÍT KLEIN VS ROOSEVELT ROBERTS PREDICTION
All the momentum coming into this lightweight fight is with the Slovak Ludovit Klein. He has shown an impressive skill set in the last couple of years in the UFC and has beaten some talented opposition. The same cannot quite be said for his opponent Roosevelt Roberts.
The American has had some mixed results in recent times and it may be the case that he is just not to the level of the UFC.
Even though Klein has a number of stoppages on his resume, a number of his recent victories have come via the judges’ scorecards. There is every chance that this match goes the same way as Roberts is pretty durable. However, Klein should have far too much all round quality and expect a shutout decision win.
