HYUNG SUNG PARK VS SHANNON ROSS LOWDOWN

Hyun Sung Park (8-0) has been flawless so far and is promising big things after winning the Road to the UFC tournament. He knocked out Jeremia Siregar (2022) in the quarterfinals and submitted Thanongsaklek (2022) in the semis. He made his debut in the final at UFC Fight Night 218 and officially marked his entrance into the big time with a submission over Seung Guk Choi (2023).

Shannon Ross (12-8) has been lined up for the finisher who is coming off three knockout losses in a row. The first was dished out by Vinicius Salvador (2022) on the Contender Series. He then managed to find himself of two pay-per-view cards getting buried by Kleydson Rodrigues (2023) and Jesus Santos Aguilar (2023).

HYUNG SUNG PARK VS SHANNON ROSS PREDICTION

Park has finished seven of his wins and although Ross’s chin is crumbling, he is still a dangerous striker.

That said, this is a good match-up for Park and we expect him to test himself on the feet and if he gets clipped with anything, he will call upon his grappling to find a finish on the ground.

Park just needs to land something clean to set up a knockout or submission. Considering the odds, Ross is worth a small punt, but Park can get the job done in a number of ways.

Prediction: Park via KO/TKO

Value bet: Ross to win
