FARES ZIAM: FRANCE’S FARES ZIAM KICKS OFF MAIN CARD
Fares Ziam (15-4) is on a three-fight win streak in the UFC having won 3 successive decisions. His last fight came in a UFC Fight Night event back in February where he beat Claudio Puelles in Mexico City. He fought in a prior UFC event in Paris back in September 2022 where he won a unanimous decision against Michal Figlak. He will now look to kick on in the lightweight division with another win here.
MATT FREVOLA: THE STEAMROLLA LOOKS TO BOUNCE BACK FROM HEAD KICK KO
Matt Frevola had some real momentum behind him having won three fights in a row before he suffered a head-kick knockout at the hands of Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC 295 last November. That took his record to 11-4-1 but win or lose, Frevola’s fights continue to be hugely entertaining. His last five bouts have all ended with a knockout in the first round.

Matt Frevola has spoken about this fight being a dog fight at UFC Paris and that is exactly how this fight will likely play out. Frevola’s style sees him either knock somebody out or be knocked out from the very first bell and it is hard to see this fight being any different. The momentum is with Ziam but Frevola will be highly motivated to bounce back from his loss last time out. That last loss by knockout may take some recovering from and for that reason, we prefer Ziam to get the win.
