FIGHT PREDICTION

Jai Opetaia is The Ring and IBF cruiserweight title holder right now and the fearsome 29-year-old put his belts and 100% winning record on the line once again. The Australian is getting plenty of air-time on these major Riyadh Season cards in Saudi Arabia due to his impressive knockout power and he will fancy his chances of getting the stoppage once again.

That may not be so easy against Jack Massey who has never been stopped. His only two losses have come via the judges’ scorecards. That said, he has never faced anybody with the power that Opetaia possesses or his elite quality.

The power of Opetaia wears most fighters down but Massey does have an impressive engine and is capable of toughing it out. Mairis Breidis took Opetaia to a decision twice in his last four fights while Massey has seen 50% of his 24 bouts got the distance. His last loss came by decision against heavyweight Joseph Parker and he showed enough in that fight that he can evade the big punchers and go the distance.

It is hard to make a case for Massey winning, but he can get the final bell. The value play here is on Opetaia by decision as there is no value in the stoppage win.

TIP: JAI OPETAIA TO WIN BY DECISION
