Miomir Kecmanovic vs Holger Rune Prediction

Miomir Kecmanovic has reached the round of 16 in two of the last three years in Melbourne and he is now one win away from achieving that once again. The Serbian was impressive last time out as he produced a straight-sets win over big Pole Hubert Hurkacz.

He now faces 13th-seed Holger Rune and the talented Dane has come through some tough opponents to reach this stage. He grafted his way through a five-setter against Zhizhen Zhang in the first round and then he beat Italian Matteo Berrettini last time out.

The pair have played twice before and both meetings came back in 2023. Each player won one match apiece.

It is Rune who has gone on to rise up the rankings and develop better since then and he will be confident after some tough wins. He should have the quality to beat Kecmanovic although it would be no surprise if the Serb won a set or two.
