Mickey Mansell vs Tomoya Goto Prediction

Tomoya Goto has plenty of televised experience, having represented Japan in each of the most recent three PDC World Cup of Darts tournaments and returns to the World stage for the second year running, having won the Japan Tour Finals.

Mickey Mansell is a player who has been on the circuit for many years and has reached the second round five times in total, never going beyond that stage. He’ll likely come into this match as favourite, but as last year showed, underestimating Goto would be a grave error.

The Japanese star shone on the Ally Pally stage last time out, beating Ian White 3-1 in the first round and impressing with his high level of treble-hitting. The big stage certainly seems to bring the best out of Goto and this is a contest that feels like there could be an upset on the cards. At very good value, consider backing Goto to overcome Mansell.
