Michael Mmoh vs Alex Michelsen Prediction

Michael Mmoh has come through three rounds to get to this stage as he won two qualifying matches at the weekend to make it into the main draw.

He then beat Alexander Shevchenko 7-5 7-6 on Monday to earn this clash with Alex Michelsen. It was a close match but one he just edged at the key moments, though he will need to play much better against Michelsen.

After a good showing in the Australian Open which saw Michelsen reach the fourth round before losing to Alex de Minaur, Michelsen was unceremoniously dumped in the first round last week by Cam Norrie.

He will be eager to do much better this week as this part of the ATP Tour in the US is one he enjoys. He has never met the 27-year-old Mmoh on the ATP Tour before but he will be confident of beating him. The loss last week will just refocus Michelsen and we are confident he bounces back here.
