Mensur Suljovic vs Matt Campbell Prediction

52-year-old Mensur Suljovic returns to Ally Pally after missing out last year and the crowd favourite will be keen to do well this year. This is the 16th appearance at the tournament for Suljovic and surprisingly he has never gone beyond the third round.

He meets Canadian Matt Campbell who is nicknamed the Ginga Ninja. Campbell has made it to the World Champs in each of the last five years and he finally got his first wins under his belt last year when he got to the third round before losing to Luke Littler.

Campbell is ranked 55 in the world and won the North American Darts Championship by defeating Stowe Buntz 6–4 in the final this year. That will give him plenty of confidence coming into this event and he will fancy his chances of upsetting Suljovic if he can hit his stride.

Suljovic is the favourite to win this match but there is little dividing the pair. Campbell arguably comes into this one in better form and the value on him is certainly preferable. We can see this one going all the way and consider set betting in this one.
