The prediction

The Richmond Tigers got one over their old coach by defeating the Gold Coast Suns 80- 69 in the upset of the round. The result against the previously unbeaten Suns can perhaps kickstart their season that has been dominated by lopsided losses and the inability to kick a winning score.

The Melbourne Demons produced one of the surprise results of the round with a 10-point victory against the Fremantle Dockers. Kysaiah Pickett and Harrison Petty kicking nine goals between them certainly helped the cause and perhaps momentarily eased the pressure on head coach Simon Goodwin.
