Matteo Arnaldi vs Jaume Munar Prediction

Matteo Arnaldi has already beaten one Spaniard as he comes off an outstanding 6-1 6-3 win over Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. The Italian dominated in every facet as he comprehensively outplayed the Spanish player and now he faces another as he meets Jaume Munar.

Munar will be flying with confidence himself as he comes off a superb victory over the talented Ben Shelton. Munar broke him twice in the first set to win 6-2 and then won the second-set tiebreak to progress to the quarters.

The pair have met four times before on the ATP Tour and Challenger and each player has won two matches apiece. All four meetings came on clay however and there is not too much to read into those matches that will help us with this meeting.

Munar is difficult to oppose after beating Shelton but we do lean towards Arnaldi. He has the better skillset for hard courts and we fancy him to edge this one.
