Mariano Navone vs Learner Tien Prediction

Mariano Navone is another player that comes off the South American leg of the ATP Tour and he will have to transition quickly back to the hard surfaces after three tournaments on clay. His form was a little disappointing in those tournaments so he will be hoping to get some wins under his belt in March in the States.

He takes on Learner Tien who comes off an excellent performance in Mexico last week. The 19-year-old came through two rounds of qualifying and pulled off one of the best victories of his relatively short career as he knocked out Alexander Zverev in the round of 16. He was eliminated himself in the quarters but he continues to impress and show he is capable of producing upsets against the best in the world.

Tien did attempt to qualify back in 2023 but he did not reach the main draw. He is at a completely different level now however and he will fancy his chances of getting through a few rounds. We expect him to have too much for Navone and back Tien to win.
