Mariano Navone vs Adrian Mannarino Prediction

Mariano Navone returns to action in Auckland after a difficult start to 2025 last week in Brisbane where he was eliminated in the first round. The 23-year-old Argentine lost to fellow South American Nicolas Jarry 7-5 7-6 so he will be keen to bounce back and get a win under his belt here.

He meets French veteran Adrian Mannarino who had to play two rounds of qualifying to reach the main draw. The 36-year-old beat Dominic Stricker but then he lost to Sumit Nagal 7-6 6-3. He was however handed a lucky loser spot and he now gets another chance against Navone.

Navone is better on clay but he has shown that he is capable on hard surfaces. It will not be easy against a wily old character like Mannarino even though he lost last time out. We can see the Frenchman taking advantage of this stroke of luck and he can beat Navone here.
