Marcos Giron vs Tommy Paul Prediction

Marcos Giron produced a solid display in the first round as he overcame Alexander Walton 7-6 6-2. There was very little between the two players in the first set but Giron pulled away in the second after winning the opening tie-break.

He now meets third seed Tommy Paul in what will be a tough test for him. They have met three times before and Paul leads the head-to-head with two wins and those are most notably the last two times they have met with Giron’s sole win coming in 2021.

Paul will be confident coming into this one after he eased past Gabriel Diallo 6-2 6-2 in his opening match. He has reached the semis twice and the quarters in his three tournaments of 2025 prior to this one and he will fancy his chances of going far once again here.

It is hard to see anything other than a win for Tommy Paul here. He is stronger than Giron in all areas and barring complacency, he should have too much quality for his compatriot.
