Marcos Giron vs Alexei Popyrin Prediction

Marco Giron is enjoying some fine form right now and it was not a huge surprise that he beat fourth-seed Casper Ruud. After getting past Nicoloz Basilashvili in the first round, Giron dug deep to beat Ruud in three sets 7-6 3-6 6-2 and the 31-year-old will be full of confidence after that victory.

He now takes on another seed in Alexei Popyrin who is seeded 26 in Indian Wells. Popyrin had a tough match of his own as he faced the in-form Zizou Bergs but he managed to win 7-6 7-5. 

The pair have met once before and that came back in 2023 in Popyrin’s native Australia as he won in three sets in Adelaide. We could fully see this being a drawn-out battle once again. It is hard to see one player dominating for long in this match so consider the game betting in a tie that could easily go three sets.
