Marcos Giron vs Adam Walton Prediction

American veteran Marcos Giron will be relatively happy with some of his results in 2025 so far as the 31-year-old has won six of his nine matches on the ATP Tour. That included a couple of wins at the Australian Open and he will now look forward to this leg of the tour in North and Central America.

He takes on Australia’s Adam Walton who has found the going tough so far this year on the Tour. He has managed to pick up several wins in qualifying rounds and on the Challenger Tour but he has yet to win one on the ATP.

Walton had to come through qualifying in Acapulco and he beat two decent players in Adrian Mannarino and Aleksandar Kovacevic. He will now try upset Giron who is the favourite with the bookies.

Giron is playing some really good solid tennis at the moment and he will fancy his chances of getting a few wins in Acapulco. He should have too much quality and consistency for Walton here.
