Marcin Tybura vs Mick Parkin Prediction
One of the more highly-anticipated bouts at UFC London is a heavyweight clash on the prelims as 39-year-old veteran Marcin Tybura takes on unbeaten Englishman Mick Parkin.
Parkin has won all ten of his professional MMA fights including his four since joining the UFC. He comes off a performance of the night at UFC 304 last July where he knocked out Lukasz Brzeski and he will be looking to improve on his six knockout victories here.
The UFC are seriously testing Parkin's credentials here as he comes up against 35-fight Polish powerhouse Tybura. Despite his advancing years, Tybura is showing no signs of slowing down and has won nine of his last 12 fights in the UFC. He comes off a TKO win at UFC 309 against Jhonata Diniz and his confidence is as high as ever.
He has managed to navigate some big punchers in the heavyweight division but he did come unstuck against Tom Aspinall.
Parkin will be eager to put on a show here and he knows a victory over Tybura will see him rise up the rankings and into the top 10. This will not be an easy assignment but we think parking has the potential to progress in the UFC and we think he gets the win here.
