Manuel Torres vs Drew Dober Prediction
Manuel Torres returns to action after suffering just his third defeat in his professional MMA career and he will be desperate to get back to winning ways in his native Mexico. He suffered a first-round TKO loss at the hands of Ignacio Bahamondes at UFC 306 – Noche UFC, bringing an end to his six-fight win streak. El Loco has seen 14 of his 15 victories come via stoppage and he will be looking for more of the same against durable veteran Drew Dober.
Dober, a 42-fight veteran, has lost three of his last four fights but has fought some quality opponents during that time. He has lost his last two fights to Renato Moicano and Jean Silva, but is never involved in a boring fight which is why he has been in the UFC for almost 11 years. He may have fallen short when he has been up against the elite, but Dober has an outstanding record against the best of the rest and he will be hoping to upset Torres in Mexico.
This co-main event is only scheduled for three rounds but we cannot see it going the distance. We have a marginal preference for Torres, but our play is on this one not going to the judges’ scorecards.
Prediction: Fight will not go the distance
