Mansur Abdul-Malik: American puts 100% record on the line
Mansur Abdul-Malik (7-0) will put his unbeaten record on the line at UFC Fight Night 252 as he takes on Nick Klein. The 27-year-old came through Dana White’s Contender Series in August and then went on to win his debut fight in the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 247 against Dusko Todorovic. He impressed in that fight picking up his sixth knockout in seven fights and six of those wins have come in the first round.
Nick Klein: Blue Collar aiming to win on UFC debut
Nick Klein (6-1) has earned his shot in the UFC by winning through Dana White’s Contender Series in October and he now makes his debut in the Octagon. He has won three bouts to get his chance in the Octagon and all three have come via submission and there is every chance he will look to take this fight to the ground especially given Abdul-Malik’s knockout power.

This is a fascinating match against two relative novices as Abdul-Malik takes on his second fight in the UFC and Klein is making his debut.
Abdul-Malik has serious power and he will look to pick up yet another win via KO. Klein is arguably the more well-rounded of the two fighters as he has a good set of submission skills but he will have to get Abdul-Malik to the ground to threaten him there.
That will mean getting close and on the inside against Abdul-Malik which may well play into his favour. We like Abdul-Malik in this fight and he has shown very little weakness even as he has stepped up the levels. Klein has to prove himself in the UFC and we have to favour Abdul-Malik based on his body of work so far.
