Manly Sea Eagles vs Melbourne Storm Prediction
Manly head into this match full of confidence winning three of their first four on the young season. The Storm juggernaut hit a road bump against the Dragons last week in less-than-ideal conditions.
Traditionally this matchup at Manly’s home venue has always proven to be a tough one and nothing less is expected this time around. The Sea Eagles have won three straight at home against the Storm and with the Cherry-Evans contract scenario still to be finalised it remains to be seen if that distraction will impact their play.
With good weather in the forecast expect both teams to play an expansive brand of football. Look for Haumole Olakau’atu on the right hand edge for Manly to make life difficult for the Storm outside backs. From a Melbourne perspective, Ryan Papenhuyzen has been in fine try scoring form early in the season and he will look to continue at a ground he's very familiar with.
We expect a tight battle early with more points to flow in the second half as the game opens up.
