Man Utd vs Rangers Prediction
Manchester United begin the seventh match day of the 2024/25 campaign sitting seventh in the league phase table, one point and once place above upcoming opponents, Rangers.
Ruben Amorim is perhaps already under pressure at Old Trafford despite being just two months into the job at Manchester United. The Red Devils were beaten 3-1 by Brighton and Hove Albion at the weekend and they have managed just four victories inside 90 minutes in the 15 matches across all competitions since the appointment of Amorim.
Rangers’ form in the UEFA Europa League and big games has perhaps saved Philippe Clement’s job at this stage with the Bears sitting 13 points behind ‘Old Firm Derby’ rivals Celtic at the top-of-the-table in the Scottish Premiership. They are unbeaten in seven matches across all competitions since losing to Saint Mirren on Boxing Day.
Rangers will go to Manchester knowing they are playing a vulnerable home team that Amorim has said they ‘maybe’ ‘the worst team in Manchester United history’. United are unbeaten in this competition but both teams scoring remains a good bet for this one.
