Malawi vs Namibia Prediction

Malawi would appear one of the weaker sides in what is a weak Group H alongside upcoming opponents Namibia as well as Tunisia, Liberia, Equatorial Guinea and Sao Tome e Principe; whilst Namibia are looking to build on an impressive few years.

Malawi come into this one on the back of a comfortable 4-0 aggregate defeat of Comoros in the second round of African Nations Championship qualification in December. They failed to win a single game in 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations qualifying, though, with no victory in their six group stage matches.

The Namibians, under the management of former Hamburg defender Collin Benjamin, reached the knockout stages of their first ever major tournament at the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations in 2024. They are difficult to play and score against with just a solitary goal conceded in their four matches in CAF’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign thus far.

Malawi have scored just seven goals in their four games and they now face an intensely stubborn Namibian side this week so a low-scoring encounter is to be expected for this one.

Malawi vs Namibia Tip: Under 2.5 goals
