It’s been a whirlwind of a year so far for Madison Keys. Winning the Australian Open was so special and that came on the back of an ATP trophy in Adelaide. The 30-year-old from USA also enjoyed a deep run at Indian Wells, although her elimination in the semi-finals saw her record just one game across two sets against Aryna Sabalenka, whom Keys defeated in the Australian Open final.

Elina Avanesyan had a lot taken out of her physically and perhaps mentally in the first round, but she got the job done vs Erika Andreeva in a three-set thriller. It would be no surprise though if that match took a great deal out of Avanesyan and with such a short turnaround between fixtures in Miami, this can only bode well for Keys.

When taking into account the incredible form of Keys, easily the best of her entire career so far, not to mention that potential fatigue which could hamper Avanesyan, it means the sensible move here to backing Keys to come out on top over the Armenian.
